Hi I was wondering if someone can help me with a school project

I have a school project where the scenario is I work for a school and I’m going to upgrade the student computer and one of the requirements is that the computers shouldn’t be able to communicating with an existing server on the network and web server (which I will also design and implement) but I don’t really know how I would stop it from communicating to the server. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do and that is simple that I can research into ?
