Looking for an adapter to throttle cisco 9300 port speeds

So we have some older/legacy label printers and Cisco 9300 switches. Even when the port speeds are manually turned down on the switch, they won't talk to the printer NIC's. Workaround previously was installing a cisco 3850 in one of the data closets. At the time i troubleshot this about a year ago, i found an adapter that looked kind of like a GBIC, and it would take that 5gb ethernet port and bottleneck it to say 10mb, which would solve the communication issue i think. i cannot seem to find the product. Anyone know the product i am talking about or have another solution?
