Hi guys,
I started to experiment with BGP and bird on a few debian VMs with VMware Workstation. I got them peered quite easily but I have made some faulty reasoning about the routing. Let my show you my current infrastructure made possible by my incredible paint skills:

Ignore Node4 for now, it's not up yet. The routes within the Nodes are just virtual NIC addresses in order to have something to announce and ping via BGP.
What does't work is: Ping from Node2 (right side) at 192.168.130.1 (Node3) because the senders source address (routed by node1) will be 192.168.58.2. Therefore Node3 will receive the ICMP for 192.168.130.1 trying to reply to 192.168.58.2 which obviously doesn't work.
I got the feeling there is something fundamental I don't get here?
Thanks.
Kind regards
