I am running VMWare Vsphere on a machine that has a ton of VM's stored on a physical server. I've created a new VM with the Juniper SRX .ova file and it is up and running. I have access to CLI but I would like to configure it so that I can access the J-Web interface for GUI through my host machine running Vsphere.
I'm new to Juniper and tried following various configuration instructions but am so far only able to ping the vSRX static IP within the vSRX CLI, I cannot ping my gateway and I cannot ping the vSRX from my host Vsphere machine.
Could somebody please help assist me with setting up J-web?

EDIT: My network is Static configured, I do not have a DHCP server.
