Sorry if this isn't the correct sub, but I recently had the cable guy come out and run a new CAT6 cable. I noticed that my router and computer are getting100M instead of 1000M when using that cable but worked fine with a different cable.
I looked at the plugs and realized the guy had reversed the order for all pairs brown on 1 instead of 8, Orange/White on 8, etc. I'm guessing that could cause the connection to downgrade but wanted confirmation if someone has seen this before.
