We ran out of electrical tape at a cabling job today (I know I know, you can never have too much electrical tape and zip ties) and one of my guys had dryer vent tape on him. It worked flawlessly for the final couple dozen drops and was a joy to work with. It was mainly used with fiberglass poles and fish tape in a drop ceiling and in walls with & without insulation (think of your typical class A building). The best part: no messy residue like other tapes. Are we on to something here or should we stick with electrical tape?
