Our site is not using any DHCP snooping or anything like that. We just have an L3 switch doing the DHCP relay to a DHCP server located at a remote site (separated by SDWAN and MPLS). We can see that the packet is leaving our L3 switch (which is the relay) towards the CE router without option 82. However, we are receiving offer messages from the SDWAN router with option 82 in it. I understand that relay agents are the one adding this option into the DHCP payload. Who could be possibly inserting this option 82 when the actual relay agent isn't? Thanks!
