OSPF elects DR per broadcast segment, if a link fails, Does all the DR's receive that LSU or only the DR on that segment? If it is only the DR per segment, does that DR calculates the best path and then send it to all the other router?

R1 ----------- R2 -----X---

R3 ----------- R4

On this example, if R2 is the BDR for both broadcast segments and that link fails, imagine that R1 and R4 are the DR's per segment, both get the LSU, calculates the best path and then flood it to R3 and then by the total path cost R3 elects the best path. Am I right?

EDIT: R3 is connected to R1 and R4 to R2
