I have been cleaning my LC cables with the standard clicky cleaner with the string inside. 3 clicks on each tip. I also routinely clean bulkhead couplers as well when installing gear. However I have never been able to get a clear answer on how to clean the SFP optics. I am cautious to attempt using the same cleaning device so I generally don't clean my SFP optics, I am just very careful to always plug those when not in use.
What do you do?
