I’ve been playing around with python this year. Wondering if development might be my thing. Curious if anyone could share their experience in the field and recommendations.
Currently I’m still a junior network engineer and would like to finish up my CCNP encor and ensarsi certs (at least for marketability). I was intending on moving on to more data center focused track but am wondering if I shouldn’t move to development.
I like working with route and switch. I don’t really like the social game around it. I’d prefer not to deal with end users at all. Not like I’m not decent at help desk and being nice, it’s just that I’d rather limit getting pulled into random tickets and focus more projects. I’d figure network dev might operate more this way?
