I just graduated college last year and am currently working as a pseudo Jack-of-all trades IT role in corporate America. When I search for network engineer positions on linkedin in my area (Houston), I see less than 100 positions open (I use string literals when I search to filter out other positions that have the word engineer in them). Is that normal, or is demand not as high as I thought it was?
