Cisco IS-IS System ID documentation

Hi guys

I am planning migration from OSPFv2 to IS-IS in my core network running MPLS LDP with BGP. In most guides and documents the IS-IS System ID is created manually from the IPv4 address on Loopback0, which results in something like for example 49.0001.1921.6800.1002.00. This is all good if I would like to use IPv4, but I am going to be using IPv6. How do you create the SysID in some form based on IPv6 addresses? If you do not use the IPv6 address to do this at all; please enlighten me =)
