Hi everyone, I have a Cisco WLC and about 9 APs. We currently are running 2 WLANs on them, one for our office, one for our plant floor. I need to create a Guest WLAN that does not have access to LAN resources and I am having a hard time with it. I have been doing research like here and here and everything I am reading is pointing towards me using a second controller for an anchor.
Is a second controller absolutely necessary?
Can you dumb down the explanation of why I need a second controller?
If don't need a second controller, what steps do I need to take to create the Guest WLAN on my current WLC?
Any other resources is also appreciated, thanks everyone!
