I'm a student IT intern working at a fairly large corporation and am having issues with consistent events being logged by cisco 2960s. I have one switch that logs everything I would like it to (login fail/success, port up/down, etc) but there's a handful that will only log things such as SMI feature and port up/down. Both switches are configured as: logging trap 6, logging console 7, logging monitor 7 and logging buffer 7 and have syslog logging enabled. They both have consistent configs but don't log the same events. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
