What’s the best way to stress the hell out of router?

Technical QA here. Current job is to stress the living shit out of one of our access points to see that the front-end reports massive changes in AP stats correctly, and to uncover any bugs that arise from high stress. Specifically, I am looking to increase the APs CPU utilization, CPU temperature and memory usage. Anyone know the best way to do this?

I have tried using iPerf with the largest packet size possible, packet flooding, NetScanTools packet flooder, the Packet Sender program and also just streaming 8K videos on multiple devices. None of these got the job done. It did stress the AP out, but not to the extent i’m looking for.

I have multiple devices I can use to get this job done, so if there’s any solutions that can utilize many devices for more success, that’s an option.

Thanks for the help everyone!

Edit: The NetScanTools and Packet Sender program both used UDP packets for the packet flooding.
