Oxidized + LinreNMS

Hello network gurus. Any kind soul that has Oxidized working in their environment, that could help me in a issue or two?
I have a few HP and Aruba switches, however all have different passwords.
Is it possible to backup the configuration for each one? And if it is, where can I specify the username and password?
I'm currently trying to implement oxidized in a cloned VM with only one switch in router.db and it's working and integrated with LibreNMS even though puma is running as root.
I've read somewhere that it's not possible, can anyone provide some input?
