I've heard about IPX and RINA and some other protocols, but I was wondering if anyone knows if someone is working on the meta level and using machine learning to generate millions of alternative protocols, and then tests these protocols virtually?
If I'm understanding Flexplane correctly, they just have the infrastructure to test, but I haven't managed to find anybody just building and testing tons of new protocols. There have been human iterations to TCP but no machine learning as far as I know.
