Can anyone with some Checkpoint certification experience tell me if it is possible to get certified without a real-life class? I would prefer not to sink my whole training budget for next year into a shitty certificate. My employer wants me to get it and would pay for the class but I would prefer to spend the money on some other classes.
My idea is to use Keith Barker's course on CBTnuggets plus books (haven't checked out what is available yet).
How hard is the exam? I'm currently a CCNA and hope to get my CCNA-Security within the next few weeks. We do have Checkpoints (obviously) - I don't like them but doing okay with them, I think.
