Name says it all... I was hired onto a radio communications company as their radio systems admin. We have multiple site spread out over a 400 mile area. Some site are connected via a vpn over the Internet to the core. Some sites are connected via microwave back to a vpn transport to the core.
Anyway, the entire thing is a flat network... Before I make the big change of switching to a routed network, are there any gotchas that anyone in this sub has ran into when doing something similar.
My idea is to link as many sites via microwave then running that geographical sector back to the core via a vpls. This would have to happen in phases due to the size of the network.
