VOIP Router/Modem

Not sure if this breaks rule #4, if so please direct me where to post.

We are a small business - 15 office staff using VOIP phones and Wi-Fi internet. Cox is our Cable internet provider and we use AT&T fiber as a backup line.

After several outages, Cox has advised us that it would be more efficient to buy our own separate router and separate modem.

They have recommended a few modems that are compliant from ARRIS.. DOCSIS 3.1 seems the best so far from what I can tell..

No clue where to start on the router..

If it makes any difference, we also use a Netgear switch as our current router/modem combo does not have enough ports.
