Hi all, I would like to know if there's an industry standard alternative to glbp just like how vrrp was the alternative to hsrp. Also I would appreciate if I could get a link to a video which teaches how to use this standard alternative.
Also, what protocol is generally used in the real world for places with high need for redundancy such as financial institutions?
Okay. I know about Cisco advice for routing to access layer...but that's internal redundancy. How about say u need to connect to two isps with two routers for redundancy at the perimeter, and and you want to be able to fail over between your routers... How would you achieve this in the real world?
