Hey All,
Not sure if anyone can advise, I have a pair of S4148F-ON's doing VLT for a bunch of S3148P's. Each VLAN has the helper-address set, and each VLAN has a vrrp-group because each S3148 is dual-homed to each S4148F-ON.
I'm running into issues where DHCP leases are taking forever to get to clients. Or in cases with PXE booting, the PXE boot times out before DHCP sends the IP.
DHCP does work, and clients eventually do get IP addresses, but it's just crazy slow, like in excess of 30-seconds to get an IP slow.
I've ruled out DHCP server issues because I took the VM, put it on my laptop via a network bridge to my physical NIC, plugged in a device directly to my laptop, booted it up and DHCP handed out an IP in a matter of 2-3 seconds.
I'm kinda at a loss on all of this, even Google has failed me. :) Hopefully there are some Dell networking Guru's out there that might be able to throw me in the right direction. :) Thanks!
