We just signed a new contract with Windstream (say what you will about Windstream, but their service to us over the last three years has been solid). They gave us a great price, but in order to get it, we had to take their SDWAN solution, which my sales person says we can simply ignore if we don't want to use it.
Anyone know what Windstream is using and how they use it? What caveats are there if we just don't use it?
EDIT: I'll add that the contract is for DIA - no private networking is involved. They quoted a not-so-hot price for DIA, and a cheaper price for DIA + SDWAN.
