Can i set a custom URL for an ftp server?

So, to start of, I'm really not knowledgeable with networking so please bare with me.
I'm going to be hosting a video game at a comic-con, the game will require a LAN connection to work, just a WiFi hotspot will work. I want to distribute the game via an FTP Server that will be hosted on the machine that is hosting the WIFI hotspot as well and I'd like to print out a QR code containing the link to the game files, so people can just scan the QR code and then download the game right off the local network. Now, I don't know the IP of the machine I'm gonna use to host so I was wondering if I can set a custom URL on my own so I can print the QR code before hand, something like www.'mygame'.com where that URL will allow access\redirect to the ftp server (all without internet access mind you).
Sorry if the information I provided didn't make much sense, I'm really not big on networking.
