Differences between network engineering for a production data center vs corporate networking?

What are the differences between a network engineer for a data center and a network engineer for a corporate or enterprise environment? Like day to day responsibilities? Differences in technologies used?

I work for a large tech company in Silicon Valley and we have separate corporate vs. production networking teams, and how i understand it is that a good production network engineer wouldn't necessarily perform well on the corporate networking team, and vice versa.
