What is the best practice for cross connecting single mode fiber according to what I have below.
I have three sites, Site A, B, and C. Site A is the main site and it has a single mode fiber running to Site B. Site B has a single mode fiber running to Site C. Is it wrong to place a single mode fiber jumper at Site B to connect Site C directly to Site A. I want to do this to avoid having to run through Site B and to avoid downtime should I need to do maintenance there. All these single mode runs are less than 3 km.
