An installer fit Cat6e cables into the house.

I have bought two gigabit switches and all cat6 cables for the rest of my house. Iperf shows the computers can talk at 996mbps but the room which has this cable only gets 96mbps, the nic supports gigabit and the switch is the same as the others (gigabit)
The guy used a crimping tool for this cable is there a specific order or colour pattern I should check? And is cat6e any good?
Should I get someone else to run a different cat6 cable across the house?
