So today is election day in the united states. I'm wondering if anyone is monitoring their networks more closely. I mean if you're at the city/county/state level today is like the big game. However for some enterprises it might be pretty kick back due to users taking the day off due to voting.
Anyone seeing any anomalous activity? We've all heard of the "interference" activity but is anyone actually seeing this behavior actively etc. Right now its a bit early for me to tell for our network. Also ISP engineers, how are the pipes looking today? :)
I know for some shops they will be monitoring geo IP activity and bandwidth a bit more closely. Is there anything you might do differently on a day like this? War rooms, special firewall or QoS policies, conference bridges etc.
To the network gods: Please protect us from outages and deliver passing SLAs.
