Hey Guys,
trying to work through some stuff, and i have a basic question about F5 LBs. If a system is behind them, but not pointed to by a VIP (ie the F5 is the gateway for the system.) Will the F5 still do any type of rate limiting or anything? Or will it just let the data flow through unaltered? The reason i am asking is that i dont actually have access to the F5, nor do i really know how they work, and the people staffing the F5 dont really know whats going on unfortunately. We're seeing systems take upwards to 6 seconds to get a reply back from the systems behind the F5. The systems behind the F5 are replying within 1.6ms so i'm quite confused. I am setting up some systems behind an NSX-T env so i can cut the F5 out, as well as in AWS.
Thanks
edit - add some details.
