Just to preempt, I recommended against an SG switch but was told they wanted to be at 10G and this was the only switch that fit the budget. Every time I have to work on it I bang my head and hope to die.
So this morning at 3 AM I got a call that many things were unavailable. It was determined that a port on this switch stopped passing traffic properly. Here is the show int counter te1/0/7

Obviously Internal MAC Rx Errors
shouldn't be non-zero. Could anyone give me some info on what this metric may indicate? I can't find any good Cisco-specific information (though it looks like this may legitimately actually be a Dell switch/OS?). Thanks for any info or ideas!
Edit: it appears the issue has moved with the port that they moved to, so I'm thinking a bad SFP on one side or the other, or a bad fiber. Does that sound like it'd exhibit this behavior?
