I was using WIFI to get my TP-LINK -> Ethernet onto my PC but realised that I am barely getting 1/4 of what I should get.
I decided to buy a Cat6 Ethernet cable that is 15 Meters long running from my Modem straight to my Computer upstairs.
My only issue is that I would prefer my door to be shut but having a round cable would be a bit of a pain, also my walls are quite thick so drilling is a no no. Here is a picture of my entrance.

I heard Flat cables past a few meters start to lose connection or something, has to do with the twisting of the wires??
Anyways some professional advice would be lovely, and a way to fit the cable through my door would be good
