Simple NAT and GPS question

I know, that every home network (e.g 192.168.0.0/24) is going to be NATted at the ISP to access the Internet. So you access www sites with an public provided ip address, lets say 92.4.5.1.

I think that this IP is at the ISP data Center, which can be 'anywhere' in my country/world.

I dont understand how Services like google maps know my specific location when I open it in the browser, since I thought for e. g the laptop cannot by localized like a mobile phone. So they have to verify the location via the accessed IP. But the IP can belong to any data center and therefor any positon.

Do I miss an important detail or have a missthought?
