Hi Guys so im doing some work for networks assignment and need help with this question , the question is "write a list naming the communications protocols that come into play in sequence from the time of the computer being powered on to the end of the web page download."
The following things happen...
The PC is powered on and the operating system loads correctly.
All communications protocols and communications software also load
correctly.
Windows is fully loaded and ready for use.
The user pings a website by using its URL (and gets a response, 4 packets
sent & received)
The user opens a web browser
The user requests the web page from the site that was pinged.
The web page is downloaded correctly
1)DHCP
2)ARP
3)DNS
4)HTTP
5)TCP
6)IP
I think this is correct , for anyone that has any knowledge on communication protocols can you tell me if my understanding is correct
