I was going over some failure scenarios in a leaf spine topology and one thing that came to mind was worst case scenario, a leaf loses all its uplink to the spine, the server ports still see the ports as live and send traffic to the leaf which of course would blackhole traffic. In ACI there's the port tracking feature which alleviates this behavior.
Does anyone know if there's a similar feature for nx-os nexus 9000. Don't seem to find anything on this behaviour.
Only option I can think off is to script a host port shutdown but it it can be done in hardware it would be miles quicker than a script.
