I've been tasked with finding a Wired and Wireless NAC solution and it looks like we are going to go with Aruba Clearpass. I'm trying to get a good number of devices that will need authentication in order to size my environment for CPPM. To be clear we are looking into EAP-TLS certification based auth for machine devices. Now it has occurred to me that it would require certs on phones and printers? Am I way off that? As I think more about this I may require the help of some professional services from my reseller. But for right now my main question is how are the phones and printers managed with cert based auth?
