Hi,
I’ve been tasked with monitoring the bandwidth of some chromeboxes on a network that are using lots of data for some reason. I need a way to log the downloads and uploads.
So far I have tried using a managed switch with port mirroring, with the monitor port connected to my laptop and running bitmeterOS, and also a raspberry Pi using nload and slurm over terminal
But I can only seem to pick up the traffic between my laptop and the switch, I.e whenever I go into the switches admin page is when I see data use
Can anybody help me out with this? Only new to networking
