Help with searching for Cisco port numbers in syslog messages in Graylog

Good evening.

I have all my switch sending their logs to a Graylog server. They're all coming in like they should. However, when I want to search for a specific port (e.g. 1/0/5) it returns nothing or a whole slew of other entries to do not come close to matching. I've tried the following searches.

"1/0/5"
1/0/5
1\/0\/5
"1\/0\/5"
*1/0/5*
1?0?5
GigabitEthernet1/0/5
GigabitEthernet1\/0\/5

This isn't an exhaustive list of things I've tried. I've done some google searching and not being able to find anything definitive.

Searching for words like updown or GigabitEthernet returns results like I'd expect.

What the hell is wrong with me?
