Agile methodologies for network engineers.

So our organization is being forced down the Agile path, specifically Scrum, although we may end up implementing it as ScrumBan. As network engineers we're fighting against it because we don't see howinthehell it fits within our daily life. Has anyone else made the transition and if so how did you do it?

What are your thoughts on it, Reddit? I basically see it as a manufacturing philosophy. It seems to work well for DevOps, which I can understand since there are similarities. But I just don't see how it will fit into a Service Delivery organization, or really even into a Network Architecture team role.
