I'm in a high school networking class, we had set up a lab with multiple computers connected to switch, we then opened Counter-Strike a lan game and one of the computers was setup up to be the server or host, you can have as many servers on the lan and it would list them all. My questions is when I go to connect to server I open a list, how does the game know what IP's in the lan are currently running a game without me having to type in an address
