A friend was asking me a question about wanting workers under his company to be able to receive material from the office while out driving around. I'm not a professional but I'm the sort of tech guy so I did a little research and the quick and easy solution seemed to be just paying for mobile hot spots for each vehicle, but thought that might get pricey with how many workers are usually out (1 - 3 at a time, mostly 2).
But then I thought, is there actually a professional service or solution to this that doesn't involve just paying for data privately? Would that be the best option for something like this? Is there a term for this that I should be searching instead?
I did a fair amount of googling and came up with just mobile wifi hot spots (like Verizon), this (don't know how legit it is, anyone heard of it?), or this.
If I'm not in the right sub, let me know.
tl;dr Need details on in-vehicle 3g/4g network. Professional solutions or private solutions welcome.
