Nexus 3Ks came with 9.2(2). Would a move to 6.0 be considered a 'downgrade'?

From what I am reading I may want to be at 6.0(2)A8(11). I have read through upgrade/downgrade guides on Cisco, but they are all relevant to within the same version build; IE 6.0(1) to 6.0(2) and vice versa.

Am I over thinking this? I'm still going through documents, but it caught me as kind of odd.

These are brand new, no config.
