I want to pass some traffic through a NAT box to see how well it holds up. I can push 1G through the box with iperf, but I'd like to know how it does with smaller packets. As far as I can tell you can't set packet size in iperf.
Can somebody recommend Linux tools to generate small packet traffic and/or to test bandwidth with smaller/variable size packets? Bonus points for simplicity and ease of use. CLI or GUI, does not matter.
