DHCP message via wrong subnet gateway

I see this message from syslog where 6.x and 7.x are different VLANs.

DHCPREQUEST for 23.50.7.177 from 2b:24:33:b6:c9:e2 via 23.50.6.3: ignored (unknown subnet).

How to interpret this?
