I have a very strange problem, let me explain shortly, and any advice is welcome, i dont even know how to troubleshoot this...
we have a small IPV4 network, 2 routers (with 2 different ISP), 5 switches (2 of them are actually routers with wireless but we only use them as switches and access points) and about 30 pc/laptops. All was working without any problem for several years.
However, we bought a new refurbished server, a DELL T310, placed an ubuntu on it and connected to the network.
the problem is that after a time, some computers loose IP connectivity. if we reset the switch they are connected, they work for some time. This appears randomly. We even had a global problem once, no connected device worked, we had to basically reset all devices.
We did a test and took offline the new server and the network worked flawless for 2 week, but after we plugged in the new server, in 1 hour the problem appeared again....
How can we fix this? What is causing the problem? Thanks
P.S. All devices are simple, cheap devices, not professional ones...
