I have a 9300 which is currently running Fuji 16.8.1 and the recommended IOS as stared by cisco is Everest 16.6.1
I’ve loaded the 16.6 in to the switch and when I do a show install summary it’s showing 16.8 as active and committed and the 16.6 as inactive.
These are displayed as file name 16.8.1 and 16.6.1 no extensions .bin .pkg and no file locations.
From what I’ve read I need to run “install activate file Flash: (file name)”
Problem is how do I get the right file name, from what I see I have no .bin files in flash which is what the documentation is describing just about 6-8 .pkg files for both IOS versions, and no files that are just purely named after the version number as I see from the show install summary.
Anyone had any experience with this that can help?
