How do I get a job in an IT field with my training?

I’m currently in community college with a Cyber Security major. I’m Linux Server Certified and I’ve worked with windows server (not SQL). I’ve tried to get jobs as help desk, data entry, and various others but none seem to come through. What could I be doing wrong and is there any suggestions on what to do/where to go?

Edit: I have a lot more knowledge as well that I didn’t put in this post. Just ask if necessary.
