So I’m going to start a little cloud hosting company.
To start I have 1 server I want to use for this. I want to buy some good Cisco second hand gigabit networking stuff.
I will be getting a second fiber line with gigabit Internet and a static ip.
What kind of Cisco stuff should I go for?
Someone offered me this: 1- cisco SG500X series switch (€500 or so) or SG300-52mp for €350 2- Cisco 5508-x firewall €450 3- Cisco ASR1001-4x1G €650 Or all 3 (sg300 + 5508 + 1001) for €1200. Should I go for this or other stuff? And if so what stuff?
