Hey everyone,
we are finally getting our first 40Gbit links between network devices. We are going to use QSFP-40G-SR4-S on both switches which require MPO connectors but only have LC patch panels between the two locations.
My assumption is that I can just use a simple breakout cable on both sides with the MPO adapter connecting to the switch and the LC connecting to the patch panel. I guess we might have to flip a few of the LC connections to get tx/rx to match, but that should be it. Is it that simple? Or is there something I'm missing?
Thank you so much for your help already, I just want to make sure that I don't run into problems a few months in.
