Internet jobs categorized by 4 layers of TCP/IP model

Hello! Right up front, I'm not a network engineer, so please be gentile. Not that you wouldn't be already.

I'm working on a (free) short book to help adults without much experience with the Internet understand how it works. Our guide is loosely based on the 4 layers of the original TCP/IP model - Application / Transport / Internet / Network Interface (Link). We chose this structure because it ... is a good structure. Our short book isn't crazy detailed. It's mostly metaphors, examples and some history.

We'd like to include information about the types of jobs on the internet. See here and here for examples. Basic stuff.

We'd like to potentially break up the list of jobs by layer. We understand that many (most?) "internet" jobs exist on the Application layer, which is the point of it, as it's public facing. Jobs like designer, web developer, marketer, data analyst are all on the Application layer. Even with the split between client and server, the people working on server code are still on the Application layer.

Can you help us with lists of jobs on the other three layers - Transport / Internet / Network Interface (Link)?

Or, is it fruitless to try to map careers to the four layers because many internet careers touch many layers? If so, can you help us differentiate some of the jobs that touch on the three layers (Transport / Internet / Network Interface)?

Thank you. Your help will go to a really good place. The adults receiving these free short books can really use all the help they can get.
