I want to learn networking, but not for a job, should I take ccna just to learn about networking?

I want to learn about networking just for the information, I'm not looking to get a job in this field. Is it worth it to take a ccna course (from udemy) just to gain knowledge about networking? I'm assuming you also learn alot of other stuff that are not to practical unless your specifically dealing with Cisco devices
